A lot of Wells Index machines had B&S taper spindles. Wells Index also offers a regrinding service to change them to R8. This might be more cost effective ( and a lot easier) than trying to gather a good set of B&S taper tooling.I think the fee is 250.00 to alter one,and 150.00 to recondition an existing R8.
